I will stay at the White Oaks whenever I visit my brother's family because of the location. It's a basic, clean hotel. The slight shabbiness is kind of sweet.

Good facilities, reasonable breakfast and clean and spacious rooms.
The information on Booked.net does say it, but you have to know that this is not close to any centre of town.

We had to leave for an event a 6:00a.M. and both the hall exit and lobby doors were locked and we had to vacate our room through the patio door. Before we left we call the operator and was told the lobby would not be open until 7:00 A.M. even after we explained we had to leave at 6. Will not return to this hotel!!!

Outstanding value. We booked for one night and drove back to stay a 2nd night and. Older hotel that is very clean and has all the amenedities. Best value. Pool, large beautiful grounds with BBQS &outdoor heaters. Will definitely come again.

Close to Vandenberg for launch view. Good wi-fi.
Non-smoking rooms should have towels and bedding that have never been used in the smoking rooms. Facilities need a huge facelift & updating. Not a complaint just a suggestion: Facility has a great location. Update the facilities with fresh everything & really use the location to view launches from Vandenberg as a marketing angle. Host launch parties or mixers before launches or brunches for the crowds that are their to watch.
